Travel grants offered by the Student Council for Undergraduate Research and Creativity (SCURC) provide financial assistance to FSU undergraduates presenting at academic or professional conferences, workshops, or events related to their field of study. These grants are designed to help cover logistical expenses such as transportation, lodging, and registration fees, making it easier for students to participate in valuable networking and learning opportunities.
To apply for a travel grant, students typically need to submit an application form, a detailed travel itinerary, an estimated budget, and supporting documentation that shows the relevance of the event to their academic or professional goals. Applications are reviewed based on eligibility criteria – more information can be found on nolecentral.dsa.fsu.edu/organization/scurc. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Students are encouraged to review the latest SGA guidelines and apply well in advance of their intended travel dates.
Please email sga-scurc@fsu.edu if you have any questions or concerns!
