The Student Body President

Elected by their fellow students each spring semester, administers and enforces all laws of the Student Body. Powers of the Executive Branch reside in the Student Body President, as well as the Student Body Vice President.
The Student Body President sits on several boards – the FSU Board of Trustees, the Student Affairs Advisory Council, the Athletics Board and the Foundation Board of Trustees and serves on or appoints designees to various FSU committees and advisory boards. The Student Body President appoints students to vacant Senate seats and directors for the Executive Cabinet, Bureaus and Agencies.

The Student Body President's Chief of Staff

The Chief of Staff shall serve as a strategic partner to the Student Body President by overseeing key initiatives, improving organizational procedures, and facilitating communication on the President’s behalf. The Chief of Staff shall represent the Student Body President to external university and governmental entities, liaise with internal Student Government bodies, and coordinate with the Student Body President on executive projects..
