Policies
The Oglesby Union Marketing and Communications office assists RSO’s in promoting their organization and events. RSO’s may bring 10 – 15 copies of a flyer to be posted on outdoor cork boards across campus. The flyers should not be larger than 8½ in. X 11 in. The SGA seal must appear on all posters printed in Student Publications and is preferred on all flyers. No inappropriate flyers will be posted, i.e. alcohol, drug or sex related. Flyers must be submitted at least one week before the event.
Outdated and inappropriate flyers will be removed. There is no guarantee that flyers posted will stay up. Only tacks are permitted to hang up flyers on the cork boards. Advertisements incorrectly posted will be immediately removed. There are 16 approved posting boards across campus. If you would like to post flyers for your organization, please visit the Union Marketing Office for a map of the bulletin boards on campus.
There are a few locked display cases in the Oglesby Union available for RSO’s to promote events. The flyers should not be larger than 8½ in. X 11 in. The same rules apply as stated above for posting.
