The Senate Pro Tempore acts as the residing officer over senate hearings if the President is unable to do so. The Senate Pro Tempore chairs the Rule of Calendar Committee, which oversees the Bills, Resolutions and approving senator absences. Additionally, the Senate Pro Tempore maintains relations with COGS and assist senators with writing Bills and Resolutions.

Andrea is a sophomore from Celebration, FL. She is pursuing a degree in Political Science with a double major in Mass Communications. Currently, she serves in the Student Government Association as the 66th Student Senate Pro Tempore.
Andrea got her start in SGA in the fall of 2012, when she was first elected into the Senate as an Undergraduate Studies Senator. That spring, she was elected to serve as Chair of the Judiciary Committee within Senate. Other involvement on campus includes Women for FSU – Student Advisory Council, and Office of Governmental Affairs – Board of Directors. She is also a member of the Garnet and Gold Key Leadership Honorarium.
