Becoming an MPHSA Officer


We HIGHLY encourage our MPH students to apply to become an Officer during the academic year. During the beginning of the Fall semester, application will open for Appointed positions including Community Outreach Coordinator, Historian/Social Media Manager, Fundraising Chair, and Research & Development Chair. These positions are selected by the E-board after the application deadline comes to an end.

 

For interest in becoming an Elected position, including President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer, those elections will take place toward the end of the Spring semester. The only exception for electing positions during the Fall semester will be for Officers that graduate during the fall. Applicants will submit a virtual application video and written requirement explaining why the feel they are best for the position. These will be viewable to all MPH students.

 

For President applications, the applicants will go through the same process, but must be interviewed by the current President and Faculty Advisor before an applicant selection pool is available to the MPH students to vote on.
