Please ensure you submit your reservation request two weeks prior to your event. The multipurpose room, patio and conference room are the three spaces available to reserve in the BSU House. Each program room is pre-set with tables and chairs. Groups are responsible for rearranging the room before and after their event.
*Please note that the house can only be reserved while the house is open during the following times:
Weekends will be approved on a case-by-case basis, depending on the availability of staff.
The spaces available are:
Ronald & Annette Wilson Conference Room - 16 chairs and large conference table (Maximum Capacity: 16)
Sean Pittman Multipurpose Room - 62 chairs, 25 rolling tables, lectern/podium (Maximum Capacity: 62)
BSU House Patio- Outdoor space (Maximum Capacity: 75)
**Projection and sound cannot be guaranteed in either space at this time**
Meetings must be for official department or RSO business.
Priority will be given to BSU, African American Studies, and SGA.
The request form IS NOT a confirmation nor a guarantee of space reservation. Confirmation of the space will be made during regular business hours Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, after being reviewed by RISE Office Staff.
An event permit will be required for each event held in the house.
DO NOT advertise your event until your reservation request has been CONFIRMED.
If you are planning to host an event on the weekend or outside of regular business hours (M-F 8 AM-10 PM.), please note that you will need to provide the name, email address, and last 8 digits of the FSUID # for two officers or staff members with your organization/department before you are able to submit this request.
Absolutely no taping/hanging things to the walls will be permitted.
