SGA SPOTLIGHT

Kayla Francis

Kayla Francis is a junior from Davie, Florida studying Political Science and Communications. During her time at Florida State, Kayla has had the pleasure of serving as a 2018 Orientation Leader, where she got to welcome new students and families to campus. In her second year, Kayla has been involved with the Caribbean Student Association as well as the Black Student Union. Before becoming the Press Secretary, she served as the Deputy Public Relations Manager for a political party and, after a successful campaign, she was appointed as Public Relations Chair. Through her involvements, Kayla has developed a passion for making sure students who may not think they fit in anywhere, know they can find a place to be heard and supported somewhere at Florida State University. Don’t hesitate to reach out to her with any questions, comments, concerns, or if you’re just looking for someone to grab coffee with!
