Sweepings requests are due November 14th at 12pm (noon). Hearings will take place November 18th – November 21st, and deliberations on November 22nd. Sweepings is expected to be voted on in Senate on December 4th, should it be signed, funds will be distributed by SGA Accounting by the beginning of the Spring semester

The Student Government Mission

The mission of the Student Government Association (SGA) is to provide FSU students with representation, services, and advocacy within the university structure. The SGA provides quality leadership for, and accountability to, its constituency by recognizing that strength arises from diversity, engagement, and dialogue.

Max Dou

Originally from La Habana, Cuba, Max is a senior studying International Affairs. Max has been involved with Seminole Student Boosters, Garnet and Gold Key Leadership Honorary, the Hispanic/Latino Student Union, and Phi Iota Alpha. Max has a passion for languages as he is in the midst of learning his 4th, this passion stems from his time living abroad in London and Barcelona for the majority of his life. Following his time at Florida State, he aspires to attend law school and serve as a criminal prosecutor.
