The purpose of the Outreach Committee is to expand the influence of HLSU on campus and in the Tallahassee community. You’ll be working with several campus departments, partners and the Latinx Faculty Network to ensure that others know what HLSU does and who we are. This committee will create outreach tactics for HLSU.
The purpose of the Events Committee is to facilitate and break-down our events and assist in planning large scale events, such as our Pageant, Festival and Gala! This committee will provide input in the creation of each of our events to ensure a positive experience for our guests.
The purpose of the Professional Development Committee is to assist in the creation and running of our Spring Latinx Leadership Institute. This committee will prepare professional development activities and coordinate with several campus partners/departments to expand professionalism within the Hispanic/Latinx community.
PURPOSE
This $1000 scholarship is awarded in memory of Angie Cintron, who attended FSU in 1997 and had an untimely death before she had an opportunity to finish her studies and is being awarded by her family in loving memory of Angie.
