The Student Body President, elected by the fellow student body each spring semester, administers and enforces all laws of the Student Body. Powers of the Executive Branch reside in the Student Body President, as well as, the Student body Vice President. The Student Body President creates programs to address the needs of students. The Student Body President sits on the FSU Board of Trustees, the Seminole Torchbearers, the Civic Center Authority Board and the Foundation Board of Trustees.

About Robert: Robert J. Jakubik, is student body president. Born in Cracow, Poland, he moved with his parents to New York City at the age of six. He graduated from The Beacon School in Manhattan in 2006.
A first-generation college student, Robert began his involvement in Student Government as a freshman, serving in the position of campus security advisor to the student body president.
Robert is an active member of Garnet and Gold Key Leadership Honor Society, Order of Omega Greek Leadership Honor Society, and the Student Alumni Leadership Council, among others. In addition, Robert has served in the capacities of Board of Directors member for M.A.R.C. (Men Advocating Responsible Conduct), secretary of the Interfraternity Council Executive Board, and Greek Judicial Board justice.
Robert is a junior double-majoring in criminology and international affairs. He is scheduled to graduate in the spring of 2010, and he plans to pursue a career in foreign relations.
