Graphic Designer
Student Publications graphic designers serve recognized student organizations, producing a variety of projects including, but not limited to, flyers, posters, signage, t-shirts, brochures, and digital media. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop is required, InDesign and Illustrator experience preferred.

  • On-site, 15 hours during business hours of 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
  • Internship is volunteer or for-credit and lasts one semester.
  • Submission of resume and portfolio and in-person interview is required.

Photographer
Student Publications photographers serve recognized student organizations, attending various after-school events and documenting them through a variety of projects including, but not limited to, photography and video.  Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop as well as social media platforms is required. Photographers must provide their own equipment.

  • On-site, 10 hours a week. Hours vary based on events. Must be flexible with attending events. Office hours are required.
  • Internship is volunteer or for-credit and lasts one semester.
  • Submission of resume and portfolio and in-person interview is required.

Journalist
Student Publications journalists serve recognized student organizations, attending various after-school events and documenting them through a variety of projects including, but not limited to, text and speech.  Proficiency in social media platforms and writing for them is required. Journalists will appear on camera for interviews and announcements and must proactively seek and communicate with organizations for coverage.

  • On-site, 10 hours a week (or 12 hours, if doing for-credit). Hours vary based on events. Must be flexible with attending events. Office hours are required.
  • Internship is volunteer or for-credit and lasts one semester. If for-credit, student will need to work 12 office hours per week and have a 6,000-9,000 word count of all collective works by the end of the semester.
  • Submission of resume and in-person interview is required.
