Welcome to the Student Council for Undergraduate Research and Creativity!



We are dedicated to making research accessible and approachable to all undergraduate students at FSU, regardless of major, background, or experience. We aim to increase the quantity and diversity of undergraduate students involved in research on Florida State's campus, preparing them for graduate school and professional life, as well as fostering the next generation of innovative thinkers. Applications are open for our Student Engagement Chair. The Student Engagement Chair will be primarily responsible for SCURC's social media and events. Interested applicants should complete the official SGA application and the supplemental SCURC application found here:




The Owl: The Owl oversees FSU’s undergraduate-only research journal, as well as its monthly newsletter of undergraduate research opportunities.

Undergraduate Research Ambassadors: The Undergraduate Research Ambassadors (URA) are students dedicated to promoting undergraduate research work throughout the university and helping students find opportunities to get involved.
