The Seminole Organic Garden, founded in spring 2012, provides an engaging opportunity for Florida State students to grow their own organic produce right on campus. Students groups and individuals can adopt garden beds from the Office of Student Sustainability. Gardening tools are provided for use on garden workdays and the Garden Manager is available to assist students, serving as an educational resource on gardening.
Besides serving as a practical place to grow produce the Seminole Organic Garden is a space for cooperative learning. Throughout the year various educational events will take place at the garden covering a range of topics from compost to nutrition.
