Delta Delta Delta was founded on Thanksgiving Eve 1888 at Boston University by Sarah Ida Shaw and Eleanor Dorcus Pond. There are fourteen sororities at Florida State. Alpha Eta was the third sorority on campus and the first sorority house in 1927. We currently have 160 members. Our symbols are the pansy, pine, and pearl. Our mascot is the dolphin. Our philanthropy is Children's Cancer Research. Alpha Eta's philanthropy raises money to send children with cancer to summer camp (ROCC).
