As the 2008-2009 President/Chairman of the Multicultural Student Assembly I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to your Multicultural Student Assembly. For many of you who are not familiar with the Multicultural Student Assembly, you may have heard of it when it was the Black Student Assembly; it has now been expanded to serve other cultures in promoting the diverse culture we represent here at the Florida State University. This is the initial semester that all registered student organizations, who work to promote a diverse range of culture on FSU’s campus will be assembled under one board as part of a new strategic plan by your Student Government Association. As we embark on this new journey we look forward to you becoming an active member within a MSA organization and we hope to be working side by side in the near future.
