The Officers of Garnet & Gold Key
Tori Patton is a Senior from Pensacola, FL pursuing a degree in Media and Communication Studies. Tori currently serves as the President of Garnet and Gold Key where she strives to recognize members of the Florida State University for their contributions in the areas of leadership, service, spirit, and scholastics, and to foster further progress in those areas. She also serves as a Recruitment Counselor for the Panhellenic Association, and is an active executive board member of Power of WE: a student-curated, university wide diversity and inclusion campaign that functions under the office of the President
Vice President of Development
Hannah Akil is a Senior studying Business Marketing from Orlando, Florida. Hannah serves as the Vice-President of Development, working to cultivate the values of Garnet and Gold Key through service and community. Passionate about philanthropy, she also is a Coordinator on the internal leadership team for Dance Marathon at FSU. Hannah has previously served FSU as the Chair of the Oglesby Union Board, as a 2016 Orientation Leader, and as a 2017 Panhellenic Recruitment Counselor.
Vice President Public Relations
Anne Marie Connor
Anne Marie, previously from the Tampa area, is in her fourth year pursuing a degree in Marketing with a minor in Communications. She currently serves as the Vice President of Public Relations for Garnet and Gold Key where she strives to represent exemplary brand and the voice of the organization. She is also heavily involved in the Panhellenic community where she previously served as a Recruitment Counselor and is currently the New Member Coordinator for her sorority, Alpha Delta Pi. Anne Marie is also on Florida State’s competitive advertising team where she works with a group of individuals to create a holistic advertising campaign.
Vice President of Membership
Will Boose is a Senior majoring in History from Naples, FL. Will currently serves as the Vice President of Membership for Garnet and Gold Key where he works to identify and recruit potential new members to the organization. Other notable campus involvement includes serving as the past president and founder of the Academic Recruitment Organization (ARO), as well as the previous SGA Deputy Chief of Staff (DCoS). Will is also a Presidential Scholar and participates in undergraduate research as an IDEA Grant recipient.
Vice President of Programming
John Wilcox is a Senior majoring in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry and is from Rockledge, FL. John currently serves as the Vice President of Programming where he focuses his efforts towards organizing events for the general body of GGK, as well as providing members opportunities to be involved in other areas of campus. In addition to his executive position, John is committed to multiple campus organizations including diabetes undergraduate research, the Service Scholar Program and the Power of We Executive Board
Vice President of Finance
Ryan Marc is a Senior majoring in actuarial science and risk management/insurance from Orlando, Florida.
Ryan currently serves as the Vice President of Finance, where he is in charge of creating and maintaining a budget, handling member’s dues, and handling funding for programming. Other notable campus involvement for Ryan is that he is serving as the Treasurer for the Black Student Union for the 2017-2018 academic year.
Vice President of Administrative Affairs
Sophia Gallo is a Senior majoring in Information, Communication, and Technology with a minor in Sociology. Sophia serves as the Vice President of Administrative Affairs for Garnet and Gold Key where she maintains a historical account of all activities performed by GGK, its members, and its alumni. Her other notable campus involvement includes Vice President of the Academic Recruitment Organization, serving on the Panhellenic council, as well as also serving on the executive cabinet of the Student Government Association.
