The SGA Office of General Counsel represents students in litigating and appealing all causes of action occurring within Student Government under Student Body Statutes and the Student Body Constitution. Examples include the following:
- Cases and controversies involving questions of the constitutionality of actions by student governing groups, organizations and their representatives.
- Violations of the Student Body Constitution and Statutes.
- Conflicts between student groups.
