President: Abagail Watford
Abagail is from Bonifay, Florida. She is majoring in Media/Communication Studies and minoring in Recreation, Tourism, and Events. Abagail had the honor of being Secretary for Salley Hall Council and will be serving as a 2019 Orientation Leader. Abagail’s passion is making connections with others. She is an advocate for helping others pursue their dreams. Abagail wants to be a broadcast journalist whenever she graduates from Florida State University. She also wants to one day become a motivational speaker and inspire greatness in the lives of others.
Vice President: Hannah Llende
Hannah is from Miami, Florida. She is majoring in Psychology and History and minoring in International Affairs while pursuing a certification in Global Citizenship. Throughout her time as a student as Florida State, Hannah has worked to challenge the stigmas associated with mental health through establishing a Mental Health Committee throughout the Residence Halls on campus. Hannah hopes to eventually pursue her love of politics through the Law, with the hopes of working as an attorney involved in Civil Rights or International Law. Hannah hopes to use her time as Florida State to inspire students to be an advocate for others.
Secretary: Emily Leto
Emily is from Mount Dora, Florida. She is double majoring in Media/Communication Studies and Editing, Writing and Media. As a member of Camp Kesem FSU, she works as a Camp Counselor to bring light into a child’s life who is experiencing the pain of a parent’s battle with cancer. Passionate about using her voice to advocate, uplift, and connect with others, she serves as the Reading Clerk for the Florida House of Representatives, is a Mentor and T.A. for the Social Justice Living Learning Community, was inducted into the Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society, and volunteers with the Capital Area Community Action Agency’s Head Start program. Emily has bled Garnet and Gold her whole life, and is beyond excited to give back to the FSU community through Class Council.
Treasurer: Brooke Deering
Brooke is from West Palm Beach, Florida double majoring in Marketing and Management and endeavouring to pursue her Masters in Business Administration. Throughout her time at Florida State Brooke has been involved in a myriad of organizations that have allowed her to grow professionally and intrinsically. She is a member of the largest business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi, holds the position of Marketing Chair for FSU Homecoming and she is the Campaign Fundraising Coordinator for Dance Marathon. Her involvements and community service have compounded on her passion for student leadership and she aspires to foster camaraderie amongst students as well as, inspire others in any way she can during her time at Florida State University.
Conrad Channell - Member at Large
Conrad is from Tampa, Florida and is double majoring in Dance and Business Management. Conrad has always been involved in his studies as well as his school’s leadership, clubs, and honor societies. He spends a lot of his time working with other students on FSU campus in organizations such as School of Dance SAC, as a member of Phi Eta Sigma honor society, volunteering for the School of Dance Young Dancers’ Workshop, and is looking forward to getting more involved through FSU Class Council. Conrad loves it at Florida State University and looks forward to the rest of his time here.
Shanice Gabriel - Member at Large
Shanice is from West Palm Beach, Florida pursuing a degree Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences with a focus in Community Patient Care. Throughout her time at Florida State Shanice has participated in many on campus organizations such as FLI, Leadership Logic and Leadershape that have helped her to grow professionally. She is a proud member of the 2018 CARE class, Big Sister Little Sister, and holds the position of Membership Coordinator for FSU Women Student Union. She is passionate about helping others find their path in life and looks forward to her time serving on Class Council.
