Welcome to the site of The American Indian Student Union.

The American Indian Student Union (AISU) is an organization dedicated to promoting Native American history and culture with the students and faculty of Florida State University as well as the local Tallahassee community. We at the AISU believe that, beyond any outward identity, all people are entitled to representation for themselves and education regarding others. Most importantly,because all who inhabit this beautiful planet share the common identity of humanity,  the AISU strives not only to unite others through American Indian heritage, but also to unite itself with the cultures of others.

Membership shall be open to all students who have genuine interest in the culture and progress of the American Indian community without regard to race, age, ethnicity, creed, disability, gender or sexual orientation.
