The Asian American Student Union is a Student Government Agency of Florida State University, founded in 1996 by co-founders Faye Hunt and Rich Sealy. Due to the growing Asian student body at FSU, the ASU was created to represent the Asian community at Florida State.

Through the past few years, the Asian American Student Union has expanded to represent 8 other Asian orientated organizations, and increased membership to the hundreds. AASU is involved in and hosts multiple events which create a stronger bond among its members and spreading knowledge and appreciation of Asian culture.
