Stefano J. Cavallaro
The Student Body President, elected by the fellow student body each spring semester, administers and enforces all laws of the Student Body. Powers of the Executive Branch reside in the Student Body President, as well as, the Student body Vice President. The Student Body President creates programs to address the needs of students. The Student Body President sits on the FSU Board of Trustees, the Seminole Torchbearers, the Civic Center Authority Board and the Foundation Board of Trustees.

Stefano J. Cavallaro
Stefano J. Cavallaro currently serves as the Student Body President. A third-year student at FSU, Cavallaro is pursuing a double major in Accounting and Political Science. Born in Portland, ME, Cavallaro was raised and calls home beautiful Venice, FL—the Shark’s Tooth Capitol of the World—where he was the Valedictorian of his high school senior class and was selected as one of two high school seniors to represent Florida in the prestigious US Senate Youth Program.
Elected to the Student Senate the spring of his freshman year, Cavallaro previously was the Chairman of the Finance Committee in the 65th and 64th Student Senates and was awarded the “Chairman of the Year” honor by his peers. As a student senator, he was instrumental in creating electronic voting and greater transparency measures for the Student Senate. This past year, Cavallaro served as Director of Governmental Affairs where he led the Student Body in advocacy efforts. Through his role advocating for students, Cavallaro successfully worked with FSU student veterans to pass in-state tuition for veterans in Florida.
Cavallaro is a brother of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity and previously served as the Interfraternity Council’s Vice President of Finance. He is also a member of Garnet & Gold Key Honor Society, Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society, and is an Honors Legal Scholar. Cavallaro recently has been recognized nationally as a finalist for the Truman Scholarship.
